​Welkom bij Tualu Tours! Wij zijn Ruben Derycke en Sandra Langi, de drijvende krachten achter jouw onvergetelijke reis naar Oeganda. Onze onderneming is geboren uit een unieke mix van culturen, een gedeelde passie voor ontdekking en een diepe, persoonlijke connectie met het prachtige Oeganda.

Hoe het begon

​Het échte startschot voor dit avontuur werd vorig jaar gegeven. Toen organiseerden we voor de allereerste keer een complete reis naar Oeganda voor onze eigen familie en vrienden. Voor velen van hen was het de eerste keer dat ze een voet buiten Europa zetten, laat staan in Sub-Saharaans Afrika. Het werd een overweldigend succes. De groep was diep onder de indruk van de cultuur, de gastvrijheid en de ongerepte natuur. Hun enthousiasme en de soepele ervaring gaven ons het laatste zetje: dit willen we met de hele wereld delen!

​Onze achtergrond & expertise

​​Sandra is geboren in Oeganda en werkt, naast haar onderzoek aan de Wageningen Universiteit, ook nog regelmatig voor de Muni Universiteit in Oeganda. Hierdoor staat zij met beide benen in de Oegandese samenleving en hebben we een actueel, lokaal netwerk. Ruben is actief als opleidingsdocent aan de PABO en de Universiteit Utrecht, en combineert zijn educatieve vaardigheden met een passie voor organisatie en techniek.

​Samen vormen wij de perfecte brug tussen Europa en Oost-Afrika. Onze eigen ervaringen met reizen en het overbruggen van afstanden hebben ons geleerd wat er nodig is om je ergens écht thuis te voelen.
